Tsubame Mk.1/60
Tsubame is a 60% O-ring mounted keyboard. The idea behind the Tsubame came from an interesting video I found online in which the reflective surfaces of a piece of furniture were used as a canvas by filming at a specific angle and displaying a graphic within its reflections. I’ve tried to give this my own twist by mirror polishing the bottom weights of this board and adding interesting visuals to enhance the design this way. Its Japanese name translates into “swallow”, one of my favorite bird species and a design motive that can be found in different parts of its design.
